Mt. Charleston

On Sunday, after the pot-luck and Dad's meeting and stuff, we got to drive up to a lodge in
Mt. Charleston! It was really, really nice. On our way there we even got to eat at Quiznos! When we got there we played back alley bridge. (I think that' s what it's called. ) It's kind of like Spaids, just a lot harder. We did a lot of just messin' around and on Monday we got to do some Geo Cacheing and then came back for lunch. We got back here in the afternoon and picked up Daisy. A lady named Miss Jacquie kept her this time. She's very nice. It seemed to work out well. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment!

I couldn't believe how tall the beds were! They were king size too. :) Sweet.

Lunch. Possibly my favorite time of day!
Can you believe this awesome bath tub??!? I took two, just to make sure we got our moneys worth. :) (Is that how you spell it?) It was so much fun! They even have those little jets too. It was like a hot tub. I know this picture isn't great, but at least you kind of get the idea.
This one's just so you can see the outside. It's actually from the back. It was hard to get a good picture, so Dad took one down the road. You can almost see the balcony that was on the back. The furniture that was out there was nicer than our house furniture!! (maybe) We went out there once or twice so that we could be cold enough to drink our coa-coa. Actually, we could see some snow down below the balcony too! It was lots of fun.

Tree Climbing

Okay, so that's probably not the most exciting thing we've done since the last post, but at least I have pictures of it! I don't know if all of you know or not, but we had to cut down our willow tree, because it had a disease, it stunk really bad in the summer, and it collected huge, nasty green bugs. Gross huh? They were so big, Caleb and Chuck shot them down with a BB gun and there were so many, the grass kind of crunched as we walked over it. So anyway, we had to cut it down, but we can climb it now! So there's me, being victorious! I was too scared to be up there while Daisy was there. I was afraid she would scratch me too much, and like, leap off or something. So I let Caleb do that. It was pretty funny.

Aren't they cute?

Saturday

I love Saturdays. Sadly I don't have any pictures to post of it, but last Saturday was a great one. First off, we got to sleep in. (It seems that the past few Saturdays, we have had to wake up early for one reason or another-- not so much fun) Then, when I finally did get out of bed, Mom said she would take me to McDonald's for breakfast!!! I don't know why, but I love eating there for breakfast, even though I hate it for other meals. (Their french fries are good though) So then after I had a really great breakfast, we got to go into a town that is basically part of Las Vegas, but I think it's called Summerlin. (You can correct me if I'm wrong Caleb.) I think Summerlin sounds a lot nicer than Las Vegas, don't you? So, in Summerlin there's a little center (or centre) thingy that's called Boca Park. In Boca Park there is a Target, Bath & Bodyworks, Ross, and Payless! We went to Target first, sadly enough I didn't find anything. But then we went to Ross, and I finally found some jeans that fit!!! I mean, of course they're too long, but that's to be expected. Then we went to Payless and I didn't find anything, but I didn't really "need" any shoes anyway. Then we got to eat at Quiznos! (Otherwise known as Quinceys.) I got a Turkey Ranch and Swiss minus onions and tomato. Mmmmmm, mmm! I'm sure some of you are wondering, "didn't they get to go to Bath & Bodyworks?" and the answer is, "no". I would have been happy to, but there were more important things to get to before we had to leave. What could be more important you ask? Well, Old Navy could! So even though we had to drive a ways away to get there, it was worth it. I got a white and a red tank top (2 for $12) and Mom had a $10 off coupon!!!! Can you believe it? Oh, and the jeans cost *less* than $10. Amazing isn't it?
Well, that was my great day. I just love shopping. :)

My Daisy, with some daisys

"Here you go little Daisy!"

"Gee, thanks!"

<< I put one in her collar..... tee hee

Woa! She just found it.

Almost got it......

Ha! Now it won't ever get away! She seems to think flowers are really tasty, but then she eats anything and everything, so it probably doesn't make any difference. But she sure is cute.

Awwwwwww, don't you just want to hug the cute little thing? The flowers of course. Oh, just kidding.
I love Daisy!

Tacky Day!

Oh yeah. Don't you love spirit week? On our videos, this week was spirit week, and I wanted to participate! So, Monday was Hawaiian day, and yesterday we didn't really have a theme, but we were supposed to wear pink or red since it was Valentines Day. And then today was tacky day. Please note the hideous shoe-wear choices. Very appropriate for tacky day, don't you think? Yes Chuck, you wear tacky foot-wear everyday! Because we told Caleb he could wear socks and sandals, he was willing to participate. Mom and I couldn't stand it for very long though, so we chickened out, and didn't wear it for the whole day. I'm not really sure what we're going to do for a theme for the rest of the week though. If you have a good suggestion, let me know. :) Well, that is the exciting news around here. Try not to get too wound up about it!
Go team? That's the other thing, we don't have a big ball game to finish it off, but maybe we'll play bocce or something.

Here it is

Isn't it cute? Well, I though so, and Dad said it would be good to have me in the picture (who knows why) :) but then I thought you could see the little heart better in the other one, so I put both on. Anyway, not much else to say about it so I guess that's all for now.
(Aren't you glad it was so short? I bet all of you took the time to finish this one!)

Home Alone?

Well, Mom and Dad left for their mini-conference this morning. Caleb and I will be staying at the house mostly, but at nights we're going to be sleeping at the Sutton's house. Most of you probably don't know them though. We went to Death Valley with them a while back, you might remember that, but I'm not sure if I put it on here. However, I'm glad that we get to be here with Daisy for most of the time. And since they work at a school anyway, they will bring us to the house plenty early enough to start school. (And feed Daisy of course!)
I don't know that we're planning on doing anything really big for valentines Day, but I think the thing we got today was part of it!! Mom and Dad bought me a really cute little bamboo plant. I love it!! (And yes, they did get something for Caleb too, not just me, but I thought he might want to tell you.) I wanted to take a picture of it, but Dad took the camera with them so I couldn't. I guess I can just try to remember to take a picture when they get back. Oh, and they are coming back on Friday. Anyway, even though it isn't very descriptive, the bamboo is in the shape of a heart, for valentines Day! It's so cute. Thanks Mom and Dad!
